Jack’s Stir Brew - Hamptons, NY
This is a coffee review of Jack’s Stir Brew, and spoiler alert, we have found organic coffee, finally!
Over a long weekend in the Hamptons, on a cool morning, we stopped at Jack’s in Amagansett for a latte. Jack’s is a local NY coffee shop that serves organic coffee, which is surprisingly hard to find! I used to love going to my local Jack’s when I lived in the West Village. It’s a small shop with just a few tables, and it felt kind of like a little community within a big, busy city, which feels special. Some people that I’d see there seemed to be regulars. I’d love to go and have a coffee and read my Sunday NYT for my fave coffee/paper time. I still stop by my old Jack’s location on 10th st., and I always have some of their coffee beans at home.
I highly recommend Jack’s if you’re looking for a solid cup of organic coffee, especially at their Amagansett and West Village locations, which are my personal favorite! You can grab a coffee and walk around these beautiful towns. Overall, I give it a 7/10 rating. Our latte tasted a bit burned (this was probably just a one-off mistake, I’m sure they’re good!), so I’d recommend grabbing a cup of coffee here instead. Also, at the time of writing this, they have rewards points, so that’s fun if you plan to go here often (which I do!). Grateful to Jack’s founder Jack for bringing this wonderful coffee shop to life!
Where should I go to try coffee next time? I’d love to know your favorite coffee, and why!
Nice write-up. Nice picture of you.
let's all go to the hamptons!
